As one of the two Executive Vice Presidents responsible for the management of Hillwood’s Victory project, Robert (Bob) T. Vicente has primary responsibilities for Victory Park operations and finance.
Prior to joining Hillwood, Vicente was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of TVO North America and EPT Management Company which is a privately held real estate company with a portfolio of multi-family assets. He oversaw capital market activities including accounting, financial reporting, taxes, human resources, risk management, and management information systems for the El Paso based company.
Vicente also served as Vice President of Corporate Finance for Security Capital Group, a multi-billion dollar worldwide real estate investment and operating company were he was responsible for financial aspects of capital market transactions, merger and acquisitions and treasury operations. Among Security Capital’s real estate operating companies were ProLogis, Regency Center, Storage USA, Archstone-Smith, Homestead Village and CarrAmerica.
From 1986-1999, Vicente served in the United States Coast Guard. He was Commanding Officer of a Cutter and later worked in the Office of the CFO at the service’s headquarters in Washington D.C. During his time in the United States Coast Guard, Vicente was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal, two Commendation Medals, an Achievement Medal, and a Commandant’s Letter of Commendation for exceptional leadership and outstanding judgment and performance.
Vicente earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in electrical engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 1986 and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996.
