Ken Reese serves as an executive vice president of Hillwood Investments and the Development Director of Victory Park, a 72-acre development located in the Uptown area of Dallas. Reese co-manages the project and is responsible for the development of the retail, residential, office and hotel components of the project.
Reese joined Hillwood in February 1999. Previously, he served as vice president of Nomura Capital, where he was responsible for real estate loan origination, underwriting and closing of construction and permanent loans of all types of commercial real estate.
From 1994 to 1998, Reese worked in Toronto for Royal Bank of Canada, Trizac, Trilea and Olympia and York and others as a consultant. During this time, Reese led the strategic planning and redevelopment of a portfolio of 100 assets, managed a $425 million purchase for a pension fund client of three of Canada’s largest regional malls and led the valuation and disposition strategy of a portfolio of 30 assets with a value in excess of $500 million dollars.
Reese began his career in Dallas for Bramalea, Inc. and in 1991, was transferred to the Toronto corporate office to serve as director of development and dispositions. While in Toronto, Reese was involved in the development of several office buildings and regional malls as well as the disposition of nine retail and office assets totaling 6.5 million square feet.
A graduate of Southern Methodist University, Reese earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1989 with majors in finance and real estate & urban land economics.
