FORT WORTH, Texas – The Tarrant County College Corporate Training Center at AllianceTexas opened today in the Heritage Commons I office building in the Fort Worth section of Hillwood’s 17,000-acre development. The Tarrant County College Corporate Training Center at AllianceTexas will offer customized training programs that are tailored to a company’s particular needs. These programs are beneficial in training new employees as well as existing employees for advancement opportunities.
Since 2006 more than 4,500 jobs have been created at AllianceTexas. These include approximately 3,600 office jobs. Companies that have added jobs in the development over the past two years include Fidelity Investments (1,500), ATC Logistics & Logistics (1,100), DynCorp International (900), Bell Helicopter (400), and Daimler Financial Services Americas (350). AllianceTexas now has 170 companies that employ 28,000 workers.
“Tarrant County College specializes in providing the training required by 85 percent of the existing Alliance jobs through customized training programs, associate degrees, high school diploma/GED, or job-related specialized certification programs,” said TCC Associate Vice Chancellor of Continuing Education Services Kathleen Noble. “This new facility will allow the College to expand training to serve even more of the work force.”

AllianceTexas now houses 6,700 single-family homes and 170 companies that occupy 28 million square feet. Sixty-six of the companies at AllianceTexas are ranked on the Fortune 500, Global 500 or Forbes List of Top Private Firms.
