Daimler Financial Services Americas announced May 7 that the company will offer 60 employment positions in the company’s new facilities in Fort Worth to its Farmington Hills, Mich.-based employees.

“We strongly believe that this strategic decision will create greater opportunities for employees and help us improve service to our dealers and customers,” said Klaus Entenmann, president and CEO of Daimler Financial Services Americas. “Additionally it will contribute to a lower cost structure and bring together the national knowledge base of our organization.”

According to a release, Insight Research of Dallas expects Daimler Financial’s plans for its 160,000-square-foot space at AllianceTexas to generate $115 million in one year to go towards the North Texas economy.
