Position Summary:

Hillwood Multifamily is seeking a Leasing Professional to join our new property, The Casey. This individual will be responsible for leasing and marketing expertise, delivering exceptional customer service while reaching property objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently portraying a clean, neat, well-groomed professional appearance, following the Hillwood dress code at all times.
  • Reliable transportation is required to conduct marketing, attend meetings, off-site training, and picking up supplies for resident and community events.
  • Keep informed and comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual.
  • Assist in off-site and on-site promotions, including assisting and attending resident functions.
  • Assist with planning and implementing resident retention and renewal programs.
  • Implementing community marketing plans.
  • Assist prospects in a positive and professional manner utilizing the industry standard benchmark questions.
  • Greet, pre-qualify, identify needs, tour and follow up with all prospects within 24 hours of visit.
  • Executing lease files within 72 hours of approval, following quality checks outlined in the Hillwood lease file check list.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the community and its amenities.
  • Keeping updated with the sub-market with a full understanding of the marketplace.
  • Keep informed of changes in Fair Housing laws, rules, and regulations through annual training seminars.
  • Attend educational events and seminars on a quarterly basis.
  • Completing Grace Hill courses outlined in training schedule.
  • Consistently maintains professionalism, courtesy, and helpfulness while representing Hillwood properties to residents, prospects, and co-workers.
  • Assist with filing, service request follow up, order supplies, responding to messages and emails before the end of the day.
  • Walking units 24-48 hours prior to move-in.
  • Walking tour paths to show units / mini models.
  • Completing open / close duties as outlined in checklist.
  • Assisting with property inspections.
  • Must be available for overtime, weekends, holidays, and evening work as needed.
  • Assisting Property Manager with administrative functions
  • Reporting maintenance problems through work order system.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment.
  • Familiarity with Entrada.
  • Leadership and team building skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in property management and/or leasing required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climbing on stairs, sitting, lifting, and carrying items weighing 20 lbs. or less.
  • Frequent writing, typing, using finger dexterity, receiving and giving verbal and written communications.
