Land & Cattle
Hillwood Land & Cattle comprises 20,000 acres of Texas grazing pastures and farmland spread over two of Hillwood’s premier ranches: the historic Circle T Ranch in Tarrant County and Hunter Ranch in Denton County. Livestock consist of 100 percent commercial Brangus cows bred to handpicked Steiner bulls. We apply modern techniques for breeding and ranching, and have won Grand Champion Overall at the Southwestern Exposition & Livestock Show in 2012 and 2010.

Foreign Trade Zone
AllianceTexas is the location for Fort Worth Alliance Airport, the world’s first industrial airport, and is home to two Class 1 rail lines, BNSF’s Alliance Intermodal Facility and Union Pacific, four interstate highways, Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) #196 and FTZ services.

Water Management and Development
Hillwood focuses on creating developments with a long-term commitment to preserve the land and protect its natural resources. As a result, Hillwood created Independence Water, a water production and irrigation company that provides water from wells and retention ponds to area producers for natural gas wells and for irrigation both inside and outside of AllianceTexas. Independence Water helps remove some of the burden from the City of Fort Worth’s water system, thus helping reduce the need for additional water lines and treatment plants.
