Winners Revealed: D CEO’s 2026 Commercial Real Estate Awards

Dallas commercial real estate doesn’t stop. That is clear in each of the 119 projects, transactions, and dealmakers that were selected for recognition in D CEO‘s Commercial Real Estate Awards program this year.

Winners were announced Thursday at an exclusive dinner hosted by D CEO. The program included special recognition of Industry Impact Award Winner Collin Fitzgibbons, who passed away last year at age 46. He was widely respected not only for his leadership and vision, but for the way he showed up for others—with integrity, humility, and generosity. His love and loyalty to his family and those he worked with were truly special.

Winners for each category are revealed below:

DEAL OF THE YEAR

Goldman Sachs at North End

The $700 million-plus development will bring more than 5,000 jobs to Dallas, this project represents one of the most significant corporate investments the city has seen in decades. Developed by Hillwood Urban in partnership with Hunt Realty, the nearly 800,000-square-foot, all-electric campus anchors a broader mixed-use vision that will truly transform Uptown. Designed to evoke a corporate campus, with a large park, it’s the company’s second-largest U.S. hub.

DEVELOPER OF THE YEAR

Hillwood

Led by Ross Perot Jr., Hillwood has shaped North Texas for more than three decades, delivering transformative developments across industrial, office, residential, and mixed-use. Last year alone, Hillwood delivered a series of landmark projects—from Scotiabank’s expansion and the Goldman Sachs campus in Uptown to Wistron’s AI investment at AllianceTexas and the new SGS Studios. These projects are driving job creation, attracting global capital, and positioning North Texas at the forefront of multiple high-growth industries.

Finalists: Larkspur Capital, led by Carl Anderson; Trammell Crow Co., led by Joel Behrens; KDC, led by Eric Hage; JPI, led by Payton Mayes

BEST OFFICE LEASE

Scotiabank

Scotiabank’s 133,000-square-foot lease at Victory Commons One was one of the most significant office deals in Uptown this year, reinforcing the region’s growing role as a global financial hub—and the continued rise of “Y’all Street.” Led by Hillwood Urban, with CBRE representing the tenant, the deal brings a major international institution to the market.

Finalists: AT&T (The Tower at Lakeside); GEICO (Galatyn Commons); Lockton Cos.; ONEOK; Pennymac; Sally Beauty Holdings
