Darcy Anderson serves as the Vice Chairman of Hillwood Management. In this role, he works closely with Ross Perot, Jr. on the Perot family, real estate, oil and gas and investment businesses.
In 2000, Mr. Anderson joined Perot Systems Corporation and served as the Chief People Officer and Vice President for Corporate Support, reporting to the CEO, with responsibility for human resources, real estate, facilities, security, and wellness for over eight years. He also co-led the Company’s environmental sustainability programs.
From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Anderson served in various roles at Hillwood Development Company, including senior vice president for corporate affairs and chief operating officer. Mr. Anderson was president of Hillwood Urban, overseeing all of the operations and development for the company’s Victory project and the new American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas.
Previously, Mr. Anderson served in numerous leadership roles for the Perot Petition Drive, Perot ’92 Presidential Campaign, and United We Stand America.
In 1983, Mr. Anderson joined Electronic Data Systems (EDS), working in recruiting management. In 1987, he assumed project management responsibilities for Hillwood Development Company’s real estate developments in Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, and Kansas City.
Mr. Anderson graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1978. Prior to his work at EDS, he completed five years of active duty in the United States Army, serving in various capacities with combat units of the U.S. Corps of Engineers.
He is a member of the Board of Directors for Comfort Systems USA (NYSE: FIX).
Mr. Anderson is an advisor to the West Point Society of North Texas and a past Board Member of the West Point Association of Graduates. He is a member of the Service Academy Selection Boards for Congressman Marc Veasey and Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne.
He serves as a Civilian Aide of the Secretary of the Army (CASA) for North Texas.
Mr. Anderson serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is on the Board of Directors of the Boy Scouts of America - Circle Ten Council in Dallas.
Mr. Anderson also serves on the Texas Veteran’s Network Steering Committee.
He is on the Advisory Board of “Project Recover”, a non-profit that conducts underwater searches for WWII aircraft in the Pacific with the goal of locating and returning the remains of missing U.S. airmen to their families. He is an active member of Business Executives for National Security (BENS) at both the local and national levels.
Mr. Anderson is married to Kay Hardwick Anderson, and they have two grown sons.
