Alliance addition

The 1.5-million-square-foot Alliance Town Center in far north Fort Worth will hold a grand opening from noon-5 p.m. Saturday.

The center is located at I-35 and Heritage Trace Parkway.

Phase One includes about 500,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and is 85% leased. About 20 tenants are already open for business, including Belk, J.C. Penney and Best Buy. Dining options include Cheddar’s and Jason’s Deli.

Saturday’s activities will include live music, free caricatures, gift card drawings and a meet-and-greet with former Dallas Cowboys player Larry Brown.

Alliance Town Center is part of Hillwood’s AllianceTexas, a massive 17,000-acre master-planned community. A 258,000-square-foot Sam Moon is scheduled to open at Alliance Town Center in March 2009. Future phases include a grocery, movie theater, bookstore and sporting goods store.
