Benjamin Moore Establishes Distribution Center At Skyline Business Park

BENJAMIN MOORE ESTABLISHES DISTRIBUTION CENTER AT SKYLINE BUSINESS PARK With 69,669 SF Lease, Hillwood’s Mesquite Development Now 100% Leased

MESQUITE, Texas — Hillwood has leased the final 69,669 square feet in Skyline Business Park in Mesquite, Texas to Benjamin Moore & Co., one of the country’s leading paint manufacturers. The four-building development with a total of 1,645,624 square feet is now completely occupied.Benjamin Moore will distribute paint products to a seven-state region from its new location in the Skyline 4 building, which the company will occupy in April. Approximately 13 employees will work at the facility.”The Skyline Business Park location works well for Benjamin Moore, because Hillwood was able to provide a building that met our needs close to our manufacturing facility,” said Wayne McElyea, logistics manager for Benjamin Moore. “We particularly were looking for a facility with enough available space to accommodate future growth.”Hillwood began developing Skyline Business Park in 2000, when the company broke ground on build-to-suits of 530,000 square feet for Shippers Warehouse and 400,000 square feet for ICON Fitness & Health. At the time the development was described by local officials as the largest and most significant industrial development ever in Mesquite, Texas.
