NEW YORK – Brookfield Asset Management said Wednesday it’s teaming up with a Dallas/Fort Worth real estate firm owned by Ross Perot Jr. to deploy up to $1 billion in the first three years to acquire and develop industrial properties. Brookfield and Hillwood are launching with $400 million in equity to locate industrial property investments with potential for value creation, the companies said.
