Transport Intelligence: CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain management companies, today announced that it is expanding its aerospace industry operations at Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW). CEVA currently operates a 150,000 sq ft (13,935 sq m) facility near Alliance Airport which serves as an aftermarket distribution center. The new CEVA facility has 100,000 sq ft (9,290 sq m) of warehouse space and is adjacent to the Alliance Airport runway, permitting chartered flights to taxi directly to the facility for unloading cargo. The operation will also provide Ocean freight transportation management and other pre-manufacturing support services, which brings a broader capability consistent with the aerospace industry’s emphasis on global collaboration among suppliers and partners.
