Ebola emergency medical aid airlifted from Fort Worth to Liberia

Dallas Business Journal: Disaster response officials and volunteers at Fort Worth’s Alliance on Monday loaded more than $147,000 worth of medical supplies into a charter jet for health workers on the front lines of the deadly Ebola crisis in West Africa. The project is a collaboration between humanitarian group Direct Relief, Airlink, ATX Air Services and other nongovernmental organizations. ATX Air Services LLC is a subsidiary of Hillwood, which built the Alliance Airport. ATX is providing the 737 charter plane to transport the aid. See full story.
