The Federal Aviation Administration has leased 14,400-square feet of office space inside the newly developed Heritage Commons II Office building at AllianceTexas for the agency’s Flights Standards District Office. Among its many duties, the FSDO oversees accident reporting, safety and education training.
Fort Worth-based developer Hillwood completed Heritage Commons II earlier in the year.
Hillwood says 50 FSDO employees will join anchor tenant DynCorp International inside the 114,710 square-foot office development. To make the move, FSDO is vacating Hillwood’s Fixed Base Operation located at the Fort Worth Alliance Airport, leaving room for the space’s new tenant: the FAA’s AFS Flight Program.
Heritage Commons II is located at 13601 North Freeway in Forth Worth. With two tenants in place, only 24,926 square feet of office space is left.
