Freeman Decorating Services, Inc., one of the country’s largest contractors for trade shows, expositions, conventions and corporate meetings, is consolidating its local operations into a 280,000-square-foot office/warehouse on 114th Street in Grand Prairie. About 100 employees will move from several Dallas locations into the new building, which is owned in partnership by Hillwood and Panattoni Development Co.
Freeman signed a 15-year deal to occupy the space. The new location will house office, sales, call center, printing and production, exhibit production and storage, warehouse, distribution and freight services. Freeman has 98 locations throughout the United States and Canada. Rick Huber, vice president of purchasing and real estate for Freeman, praised the city of Grand Prairie and its economic development team. “They listened to our needs and proactively put together meetings with key officials to convince Freeman that working in and with Grand Prairie would be the best alternative in fulfilling our relocation goals,” he said.News Article | 12/16/2005
