DALLAS, Texas – Hillwood has named Andrew Gallina, who has more than 20 years of marketing experience, primarily with real estate companies and national retailers, as Chief Marketing Officer for its Victory development near downtown Dallas. Gallina also is familiar with the North Texas market, having served as marketing director for Neiman Marcus from 2000-2004 and for Bass Enterprises from 1998-2000.
“With his marketing expertise in both real estate and retail, as well as his knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth market, Andrew Gallina is a perfect fit for Victory,” said Ross Perot Jr., chairman of Hillwood. “Now that we are finishing the third phase and have reached a critical mass in terms of retailers, residents and office users at Victory, it’s extremely important that Hillwood continues to create and nurture a dynamic and exciting neighborhood for our existing customers, while we continue to plan, market and develop the project’s future phases.”
Gallina will oversee all aspects of Victory’s marketing efforts, including residential, retail, office, and the Victory Media Network.
Prior to joining Hillwood, Gallina was Chief Marketing Officer of Kirkland’s, one of the country’s leading home décor retailers, which has 365 stores in 38 states. While at Kirkland’s, Gallina oversaw marketing, merchandising, visual presentation and store design while implementing a new strategic initiative and branding plan.
His past experience also includes serving as president of Aubergine, a luxury home décor retailer, and overseeing marketing for real estate companies, LaSalle Partners and Lerner.
Gallina earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in Fine and Applied Arts from Bethany College. He also studied at Oxford and participated in customer service and management programs at Walt Disney Company.
