Hillwood buys North Fort Worth land

Residential land developer Hillwood Communities said Monday that it has added to the company’s holdings in North Fort Worth.

The real estate company has purchased 52 acre of residential and commercial at the northeast corner of Golden Triangle Boulevard and Beach Street.

Hillwood said it will market the property for commercial uses including gas stations, grocers, medical offices and restaurants.

The company said it will begin work late this year to improve the adjoining intersection.

Ken Reimer and David Davidson Jr. of Venture Commercial Real Estate brokers the transaction for Hillwood with seller Realty Capital Golden Beach.

Just last week, Hillwood said it was starting an additional 30 home lots in the Twin Creeks community in Allen north of Dallas.

Hillwood Communities was founded by businessman Ross Perot Jr. and has built more than 22,000 home lots in more than 60 communities around the country.
