Hillwood names chief marketing officer for Victory project

Developer Hillwood said Tuesday it has named Andrew Gallina chief marketing officer for its Victory project near downtown Dallas.

Mr. Gallina has more than 20 years of marketing experience with national including retailers Neiman Marcus and Kirkland’s.

He was also marketing director for Fort Worth’s Bass Enterprises from 1998 to 2000. The Bass family has been active in redeveloping downtown Fort Worth.

“With his marketing expertise in both real estate and retail, as well as his knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth market, Andrew Gallina is a perfect fit for Victory,” Hillwood chairman Ross Perot Jr. said in a statement.

“Now that we are finishing the third phase and have reached a critical mass in terms of retailers, residents and office users at Victory, it’s extremely important that Hillwood continues to create and nurture a dynamic and exciting neighborhood for our existing customers, while we continue to plan, market and develop the project’s future phases.”

The 75-acre Victory project includes high-rise residential buildings, a new office tower, urban retail space and the W Dallas Hotel.

The American Airlines Center arena anchors the project, which is located in Dallas’ Uptown District.

Mr. Gallina will be responsible for all of the project’s marketing including residential, retail and office space.
