Shoppers near the Alliance development will enjoy another supermarket option when Kroger Marketplace opens in late 2010.
The 123,000-square-foot store will mark Tarrant County’s first Kroger Marketplace and welcome customers at the southwest corner of Heritage Trace Parkway and Riverside Drive at Alliance Town Center in north Fort Worth.
“The residential growth at Heritage and the other nearby communities, as well as the employment growth at Alliance, make Alliance Town Center the ideal location for the first of our new Kroger Marketplace concept stores in Tarrant County,” said Gary Huddleston, director of consumer affairs for Kroger, making his comments in a press release.
Kroger and Hillwood Properties, the developer of AllianceTexas, completed the deal that promises shoppers a fuel center, wine shop and a Nature’s Market section offering all-natural and organic products.
The store will also include a Fred Meyer Jeweler store, as well as a home-furnishing section featuring Ashley Brand furniture.
“Since Hillwood began developing Alliance Town Center, we have been looking for the right grocery store to meet the needs of our adjacent Heritage residential community,” said Mark Miller, vice president of retail development for Hillwood Properties, making his comments in the same press release.
“Kroger Marketplace is the perfect fit, because it offers a one-stop shop for a wide variety of high-quality groceries, deli, meat and produce.”
