Olive Garden in far north Fort Worth

Olive Garden will open its first Tuscan farmhouse-designed restaurant in Fort Worth on Monday at Interstate 35W and Heritage Trace Parkway.

The 7,441-square-foot, 246-seat restaurant will employ about 165 people, Olive Garden said. The restaurant has a rustic stone exterior.

Inside, ceilings are supported by exposed wood beams, stone and wood accents, and terra cotta tile.

The lava stone bar top was hand-painted by artisans in Italy, Olive Garden said.
