PCS leases space at Alliance hub

Public Communications Services Inc. has decided to move into the Alliance Global Logistics Hub in Fort Worth to create a research, development and manufacturing facility within the industrial hub.

Los Angeles-based PCS, which develops and manufactures telecommunications products for detention and correctional facilities, has leased 18,726 square feet in Hillwood’s Gateway 15 building at Alliance. The site will handle product development, testing, manufacturing and customer care from the facility.

The site’s official address in the Alliance Hub is 4700 Alliance Gateway Fwy. in Fort Worth.

“Public Communications Services selected this location due to its geographic location in the center of the United States and because of the strength of the telecom technology industry, not only in North Texas, but at the Alliance Global Logistics Hub,” said Tommie E. Joe, president and chief operating officer of PCS. “In addition, PCS has a significant presence in correctional facilities in Texas and Oklahoma.”

AllianceTexas as a development is home to 200 companies that have filled 29 million square feet of space. The development, which was spearheaded by Fort Worth-based Hillwood, encompasses 17,000 acres.
