Peregrine Point to open locally

Hillwood Properties recently began construction on a 58,000-square-foot build-to-suit office and hangar for Peregrine Point LLC, a new passenger/cargo air charter company, at Fort Worth Alliance Airport in Hillwood’s AllianceTexas development.

According to Randy Taylor, Peregrine Point’s general manager, the selection of Alliance came after a nationwide search.

“From an aviation standpoint, Fort Worth Alliance Airport is a full-service, 24-hour facility, while the city of Fort Worth and Hillwood have created a tremendous business atmosphere at Alliance that allows companies to grow and prosper,” Taylor said.

Taylor said the company will initially employ 30 people.

Located on the southeastern edge of the airport, the new corporate headquarters features 10,000 square feet of offices in front of two connected hangars that have stair-stepped roofs to accommodate one Boeing 737-700C and one Gulfstream 450 aircraft.

Additionally, the Boeing 737 aircraft can convert from a 55-person European Business Class configuration to a seven-pallet, 35,000-pound configuration, as well as having various combined passenger/cargo configurations.

The new facility, which was designed by RGA Architects, is expected to be completed in August 2008.
