Telecom company leases space at AllianceTexas in Fort Worth

Developer Hillwood said Wednesday that a telecommunications company is locating a manufacturing and research and development center in its AllianceTexas project north of Fort Worth.

Public Communications Services Inc. provides inmate telecommunications systems for correctional facilities.

The company has leased 18,726 square feet in Hillwood’s Alliance Global Logistics Hub at 4700 Alliance Gateway Freeway in Fort Worth.

“Telecommunications is one of the largest industry sectors at Alliance,” Reid Goetz, marketing manager for Hillwood Properties, said in a statement. “The in-place technology infrastructure along with the skilled telecom and engineering labor force make Alliance the perfect location for the PCS engineering and manufacturing facility.”

Telecom companies occupy more than 2.3 million square feet and employ more than 6,000 workers at AllianceTexas, according to Hillwood.

Public Communications Services offers telecommunications services for correctional facilities in Texas and Oklahoma, which can be easily served by the new operation.
