Alliance Air Services President Tim Ward announced Tuesday that he plans to retire from Hillwood at the end of the year.
Since Alliance’s inception in 1989, Ward oversaw the development and management of For Worth Alliance Airport.
Ward also has led a fixed-based operation at the airport for the past 23 years that has received many industry awards, Hillwood said in a release.
He also oversaw the Alliance Air Show, one of the nation’s top annual air shows.
Tom Harris, Hillwood Properties senior vice president, will succeed Ward as president of Alliance Air Services at year’s end, Hillwood said.
Harris joined Ward’s management team at Alliance in 1990.
