Up to five office buildings on the slate for new Frisco Station district

Mixed-use development Frisco Station is growing once again with a new district set to bring office space, a hotel, a national retailer and at least four dining options.

The Towers at Frisco Station will be situated on the northwest quadrant of Dallas North Tollway between Warren Parkway and John Hickman Parkway.

Beyond hospitality and retail options, plans for the Towers involve a Class AA speculative office building and eventually could include up to five office buildings, totaling 3 million square feet.

“The office program at Frisco Station remains strong, and The Towers district gives our office users and multifamily residents great walkability to all the area offers once their workday is complete,” said Robert Folzenlogen, senior vice president of strategic development and innovation for Hillwood, Frisco Station’s master developer.

The new phase is walkable to The Star, the headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys.

The Towers, comprising 242 acres in the Collin County city of Frisco, will mark the latest addition to Frisco Station.

The development already spans 700,000 square feet of office space, 955 mid- and high-rise apartments and 450 hotel rooms.

A project from Hillwood, Van Trust Real Estate and The Rudman Partnership, Frisco Station’s full build-out is expected to span 2,400 residential units, a 55-acre corporate campus, 3 million square feet of mid- and high-rise office space, and 34 acres framed around health and wellness anchored by medical and life sciences facilities.

A park and trail system will flow through the property.

“The Towers at Frisco Station represents the ultimate vision for Frisco’s Dallas North Tollway corridor,” said Bill Baumgardner, executive vice president for VanTrust, in a statement.

“It will provide Frisco Station with a bustling mixed-use district comprised of best-in-class high-rise office space, unique entertainment venues, high-end hospitality options, and the very best in fine dining. We believe it will enable Frisco Station to set the standard for the flexible, amenity-driven office destinations that today’s employers require.”

Already underway at the Towers is pre-construction for Pickle and Social. The concept will mark the first entertainment venue within Frisco Station. It will be part of a dual-concept destination paired with Fairway Social, a golf simulator featuring 130 courses.
