W Hotel open in Dallas

The first W Hotel in Texas opened in Dallas this week.

The W Dallas Victory Hotel and Residences offers 252 hotel rooms and 144 one- and two-bedroom condos. It is the first hotel of the brand to also have W Residences, which offer the owners of the condos the benefits of being attached to the hotel, including access to private in-home catering, VIP service at W’s restaurants and bars and daily maid service.

The hotel also houses the Craft restaurant with renowned chef Tom Collichio.

The W Dallas Victory Hotel and Residences project, which is co-owned by Hillwood and Dallas-based Gatehouse Capital, is part of Hillwood’s Victory Park, a 75-acre, mixed-use development in downtown Dallas near the American Airlines Center.

New York-based W Hotels Worldwide, a luxury hotel brand and manager of the W Dallas, is planning other W Residences in the South Beach area of Miami Beach; Hollywood, Calif.; Las Vegas; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Hoboken, N.J.; Scottsdale, Ariz. and Phoenix.
