FORT WORTH, Texas – (July 11, 2022) Hillwood has entered into a new distribution center lease with longtime corporate resident, Carolina Beverage Group. Alliance Center North 9 (ACN 9) originally commenced construction in December 2021 as a class A spec facility and will now provide Carolina Beverage with a state-of-the-art distribution center to support its high-speed bottling and filling manufacturing facility already located within AllianceTexas.
“Carolina Beverage Group has been an outstanding and highly valued corporate resident of AllianceTexas for nearly a decade,” said Reid Goetz, senior vice president of Hillwood. “We are thrilled to support the company’s continued growth, which has aligned perfectly with our industrial development strategy of building for future needs by keeping speculative options on hand for new and existing customers.”
ACN 9 features modern specifications in logistics center design, including a 36-foot minimum clear height, 60-foot loading bays, two 185-foot-deep and one 135-foot-deep truck courts, providing tri-load functionality and additional trailer parking spaces. Located at the southeast corner of North Beach Street and Litsey Road in Denton County, ACN 9 benefits from direct access to Interstate 35W and the Eagle Parkway/I-35W interchange. ACN 9 and adjacent building, Alliance Center North 8 (ACN 8), were announced in October 2021 as speculative distribution facilities and are currently under construction with an expected completion in the fall of this year.
“AllianceTexas has given us access to world-class amenities focused on furthering our growth and we are excited to expand into our new space at Alliance Center North 9,” said Brian Demos, President & CEO of Carolina Beverage Group. “We are now able to continue tapping into those amenities while seamlessly serving our growing footprint across the country.”
Carolina Beverage Group expanded into the Southwest in 2014 with its manufacturing and warehouse facility at AllianceTexas. The facility offers cold fill, hot fill and tunnel pasteurization capabilities and can produce can sizes ranging from 8 ounces to 24 ounces, including the re-sealable CapCan. The company also operates an additional distribution center in AllianceTexas.
ACN 9 is strategically located within close proximity to AllianceTexas’ logistics amenities: BNSF’s Alliance Intermodal Facility, the Alliance FedEx Ground Hub, two UPS Ground Sort Hubs, the FedEx Express Southwest Regional Air Hub and Amazon Air Regional Hub.
AllianceTexas continues to be an economic engine powering job growth in North Texas, generating more than 63,000 direct jobs to date. All AllianceTexas customers have access to a full suite of workforce recruitment, training and retention resources through the Alliance Workforce Center, Tarrant County College’s Corporate Center for Learning & Development, and dedicated Hillwood Workforce & Education Strategic Initiatives representatives.
