Fort Worth, TX, December 4, 2024 — Gridiron Air is proud to announce its certification as a Part 121 Supplemental Air Carrier, granted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This accomplishment will allow the operations of a fleet of Boeing 777-200ER’s and offer its class-leading charter experience to the market. Gridiron Air selected Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW) for its headquarters in October 2023 where it has worked to achieve its most recent certification.

AFW, the world’s first industrial airport, features a vast array of flight services including air cargo, corporate and government aviation, and is the cornerstone for Hillwood’s 27,000-acre master-planned AllianceTexas development, the nation’s most successful public-private partnership.

“We owe this achievement to the hard work of our dedicated team and an invaluable partnership with the FAA,” said Paul Kirby, President and CEO of Gridiron Air. “Our Boeing 777-200ER fleet will be a market disruptor. With four distinct cabin zones, including 28 lie-flat seats and seating for up to 288 passengers in unmatched comfort, upgraded connectivity and in-flight entertainment, we are excited for our guests to experience the new standard in large aircraft charter.”
