Hillwood Investment Properties, a Perot company, will develop a Class A master-planned business park, Legacy Park, in Olive Branch, MS that has the potential to bring many jobs to the Memphis metropolitan area. Located in the heart of DeSoto County, Legacy Park will serve as a unique business park model that is tied to the distinct heritage of the land.
Six buildings totaling four million square feet are planned for Legacy Park. The property is situated on State Highway 302 between Hacks Cross Road and Polk Lane.
Site work will begin next month and construction of the first two buildings will commence as soon as the site is ready.
The first phase of construction includes two facilities: a 294,000-square-foot building and a 798,000-square-foot building due for completion in early summer. The first building will be a front park, rear load building featuring, an ESFR sprinkler system, efficient T-5 warehouse lighting, and expansive truck courts. The second building is a cross dock facility with similar features plus significant trailer parking capacity.
